Mr. Shafir joins Gaia Group as VP of Operation and Property Management, and brings with him over 20 years of Corporate Management experience and 7 years management and transactional experience in real estate investments and asset management.

In 2004, Mr. Shafir joined Amelit Group and OCG, a NY real estate investment firm, as General Manager and helped the firm in the acquisitions and management of over 1000 multi-family housing units in the NY market.

In 2002 Mr. Shafir was appointed as Director of Operations of ITA USA, a multi media multi sensory movie theater development in Baltimore MD and Atlantic City NJ, and developed, managed and repositioned this attraction in the US market.

Prior to his tenure with ITA Mr. Shafir was associated with ICTS USA Inc. a pioneer and innovator of aviation security systems worldwide. Mr. Shafir served as the Director of USA Operations and was involved with the acquisitions of real estate and other variety of investments done by the group in the US market. In 1996 Mr. Shafir assisted ICTS International NV, the parent company, in its IPO on the NY NASDAQ.

Mr. Shafir earned a BA with distinctions from NYIT in Hotel and Business Management and currently pursuing his MBA in Business management. Mr. Shafir holds Real Estate Broker license issued by New York Department of State.
