Mr. Woolley has close to 40 years and billions of dollars of experience in real estate investments, both in the private and public sectors, including acquisitions, development and property management, and including raising of equity & debt to fund real estate investments.

Served as CEO and Chairman of Extra Space Storage Inc., (NYSE: EXR), the second largest REIT in the U.S. for self storage.

Mr. Woolley grew EXR from a small company with five properties to a large company traded on the New York Stock Exchange with market capitalization of $2.8 billion. EXR is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) based in Salt Lake City, Utah with regional offices in California, Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Texas.

EXR is the second largest operator of self storage facilities in the U.S, and has the benefit of having top echelon institutional investors (such as Prudential Real Estate Investors) as partners in many of its deals. With 667 properties in 35 states encompassing nearly 49.3 million rentable SF, EXR is a national owner, developer, acquirer and operator of professionally managed self-storage properties.

Mr. Woolley directs all strategic planning for, and oversees the development and acquisition activities of, EXR. In addition, Mr. Woolley has been directly responsible for developing over 180 self-storage properties throughout the United States and for raising over $2.5 billion for EXR's activities.

Since 1990 and concurrently with his roles at EXR, Mr. Woolley has served as Chairman of Nevada West Development (and its subsidiary WestCorp Management Group ("WestCorp")), which he founded.

Realty Management, Nevada West and WestCorp are developers and owners of residential properties in Las Vegas, NV, Houston, TX and Dallas, TX. In the last 10 years, WestCorp purchased and developed over 12,000 units (generating an average IRR of 57%), out of which over 4,000 units were located in the Las Vegas area.

Moreover, the company participated in the acquisition of a mezzanine loan secured by 9,500 residential units spread over 32 properties located primarily in Texas and Arizona, and took control of the management of said units. This acquisition increased WestCorp's portfolio of units under management (including assets managed for third parties) to over 20,000, thereby making WestCorp the 30th largest apartment property manager in the U.S.

Mr. Woolley earned a B.A. in Physics from Brigham Young University, an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Ph.D. from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Between 1978 – 1998, Mr. Woolley served as an Associate Professor of Business at Brigham Young University.
